Eagle Problem Solvers
The Eagle Problem Solvers is a student-faculty problem solving group in the department of mathematical sciences, and the group discusses (and hopefully solves!) a variety of problems posed in mathematical journals.
Location
- Armstrong Campus
- Statesboro Campus
Upcoming Events
The group will be meeting again this fall semester on every other Friday from 12:15-1:15 pm via Zoom, beginning Friday, Aug. 25. This semester we will also be having follow-up in-person meetings with students in the weeks we are not meeting via Zoom; Dr. Sungkon Chang will lead these on the Statesboro campus, and Dr. James Brawner will lead them on the Armstrong campus. We hope this will be a good opportunity to follow up on problems discussed the previous week, discuss other problems, and bond over some snacks.
If this sounds interesting, or you are curious about it, please join us! Especially, if you are interested in joining the in-person sessions, please contact Dr. Chang or Dr. Brawner depending on your base campus, and we will figure out when to meet in-person. You may find current problem sets listed on our Google Drive.
